Included in the package:

• Preparation of an estimated total cost for the transaction, including taxes, notary fees, registration fees, etc.
• Meeting with the lawyer to explain the inheritance process and expenses.
• Meeting with the tax advisor to guide the client regarding tax obligations and provide advice on the different Spanish and Valencian Community taxes.
• Verification of mortgage charges, searches in the Property
• Registry, search for building managers, verification of electricity bills, verification of water bills, etc.
• Verification of ownership and current status of the property. Searching for liens, charges, or encumbrances with the corresponding Property Registry that may need to be removed before the property is inherited. Requesting all necessary Spanish legal procedures from the different agencies.
• Preparation of the deeds to be signed at the notary’s office and attendance on the day of the notary appointment.
• Application for and payment of capital gains tax (local tax).
• Review and proper registration of the inheritance deed, completing, paying, and submitting the necessary forms and taxes.
• Change of ownership for local taxes, garbage collection fees, and utilities.
